Hi!

I'm Diana, founder of Simplifying Music.

After teaching music for more than 15 years, I noticed the same pattern over and over again. Students were excited to begin lessons, but many families quickly became overwhelmed. Between busy schedules, long practice expectations, and demanding assignments, music often became another source of stress instead of something everyone looked forward to.

I knew there had to be a better way.

So I began creating my own curriculum—one that broke music into simple, achievable steps that both students and parents could easily understand. Instead of expecting hours of practice each week, I focused on building consistent habits through just 5–10 minutes of focused practice each day.

The results were incredible.

Students made steady progress, parents felt confident helping at home, and music became something families enjoyed together instead of another item on the to-do list.

Today, that curriculum is the foundation of every class at Simplifying Music.
